MGM & TheaterEars Partner to Release ‘The Addams Family’ Animated Film in Spanish

Los Angeles (October 10, 2019) – MGM and TheaterEars announced today they will partner to release the studio’s upcoming animated film, The Addams Family, in Spanish through the TheaterEars app. TheaterEars, which is available on both the App Store and Google Play, enables moviegoers to experience a movie in a different language at the movie theater synced perfectly to the action on the big screen using just their smartphone and earbuds. The Addams Family will be released by United Artists Releasing nationwide on October 11.

Based on the famous New Yorker creations of Charles Addams, the kookiest family on the block is back on the big screen with an all-star voice cast led by Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, Allison Janney, Elsie Fisher and Snoop Dogg playing IT. The film features two new original songs, “Haunted Heart” by Christina Aguilera and the title track “Family” performed by Migos, Snoop Dogg, and Karol G. 

The Addams Family is the first release from MGM on the TheaterEars app, which is free to download and use.
